look, you write tu tu and i’ll follow you to the ends of the earth… or at least for as far as your bike will take me.
★ picnic. there’s something morose and possibly haunting here?
★ green books. yeah what’s going on here? i feel like i’m in a convenience store with nobody else around. the register is empty and i can’t hear a soul aside from maki-chan’s over the pa system.
★ golem polka. yeah i can’t take this!
★ tentaikansoku. the rock is truly portable this time!
★ mishin de nuou. ok this is apparently a compilation of demos from their early days (hence the name), which does a lot to explain the lonely feeling
★★ jidousha race. but now that i have context for my feelings, maybe i can love this?
★★ shinju kaigan. the lights of the konbini have shut off, and now it’s just her voice and me, dreaming of the coast. she’s calling me, but i don’t want to leave quite yet. i know that i’ll find her out behind the lawson, past the brush, waiting quietly by the shoreline. but do i take the risk of leaving this fantasy in pursuit of its realization?
