because i learned that do i love you puts me on another plane.
★ walkin’ in the rain.
★★ do i love you? those backing vocals during the chorus are unreal. also those drums!
still, ronnie’s voice makes my teeth hurt, which makes stuff like so young a bit more taxing to get through.
★ the best part of breakin’ up, and those signature plodding downbeats. i feel like that hook needs more emphasis when it arrives, but the song is going max energy and max plodding and there’s nowhere for it to go…
★ what’d i say is the most ambiguous and cavernous song and that’s incredible
★ be my baby. i’m not as enchanted by this song as i think i’m supposed to be.
★ you baby
★★ baby, i love you. the subdued strings in the instrumental made me love it this time.
